Who am “I”?
I’m Trisha Torrey, the proprietor of the AgeSmart! 411 Guide Directory and Network. I’ve spent decades as a marketer / teacher / entrepreneur, and now I’m here to support you in your efforts to support seniors who wish to age independently.
How did all this come about?
Ha! It’s because I just can’t seem to retire. In fact, I’ve now “UNretired” twice! As one of those very seniors we’re talking about here – I am on my quest to age independently. And as a marketer and teacher who has enjoyed her work for all this time – I’m now turning my focus toward:
- Seniors AKA “Older Adults” (the 50 and better group*) Retired, or not. Those of us who wish to stay as independent as possible for as long as we maintain a good quality of life.
- Our kids – adult children, or other family members who help out, or other influencers such as pastors, priests, rabbis, imams, or financial advisors, lawyers, accountants – anyone who helps us learn about choices and make decisions that affect our independence, and therefore the quality of our lives.
- And you! An expert / professional who serves us and does business with us, and who might even like to find others who share our interests.
